Semenchenko may refuse from deputy mandate

Commander of the special battalion of the National Guard Donbas Semen Semenchenko may refuse from the deputy mandate.
He wrote about this on his Facebook page.
“Till December 1, depending on the situation on the front, I will take a decision on further serving or fulfillment of duties of the people’s deputy of Ukraine based on the Law of Ukraine “On the status of people’s deputy of Ukraine,” Semenchenko promised.
He said that he considers as his duty to go to the ATO area jointly with the Donbas Battalion, which is now undergoing combat coordination.
Semenchenko also said that he is not a serviceman, he is serving in the military reserve of the National Guard of Ukraine and is a major-reservist, who does not receive payment for his service.
To remind, November 10, the CEC recognized Semenchenko the elected deputy of the parliament. According to the law, the Central Election Commission, no later than on the fifth day following establishment of results of the elections, has to officially publish them in the parliamentary newspaper Holos Ukrainy and the government newspaper Uriadovy Kurier. Following that, the parliamentarians over 20 days should submit documents to the CEC for being dismissed from the post, incompatible with the deputy mandate.
