SBU stops foreign trade activities of 243 Russian companies doing business with Ukraine, militants

The SBU Security Service of Ukraine has stopped the foreign trade activities of 243 Russian companies doing business with commercial entities of the temporarily militant-occupied territories, the press-center of the SBU reported.
”In the course of inspection, the employees of the agency discovered that most of these Russian companies were also legally cooperating with Ukraine. They were not subject to the provisions of the decree of the President of Ukraine imposed by the decision of the National Security and Defense Council, on the application of the personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions),” the report said.
The SBU handed over the material to the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade. Following the conclusions of its experts, the Ukrainian producers are able to fully compensate for the Russian imports.
”Accordingly, it was decided to temporarily suspend the foreign trade activity of these Russian companies,” the SBU stated.
