SBU detains three militants hiding in Ukrainian-held territory

The SBU Security Service of Ukraine, acting with the police, has detained three militants of the DPR and LPR terrorist organizations in the area of the Anti-Terrorist Operation, Andriy Lysenko, administration spokesman for ATO issues, said at a briefing in Kyiv on Saturday, according to a UNIAN correspondent.
Lysenko reported that the first of the detainees was on duty at the militant checkpoint in 2014, serving as a guard in the occupied town of Debaltseve. The second was a member of the DPR terrorist organization and checked people who passed through the enemy`s checkpoint in the town of Toretsk. The third detainee joined the illegal ”Great Don Army” in 2014, standing guard at the militant recruitment station in the town of Pervomaisk.
”All three left the gangs and were hiding in Ukrainian-controlled territory. They are now waiting for their trial, which will determine the punishments for them,” Lysenko said.
