Nadia Savchenko, the Ukrainian pilot who has been wrongfully convicted in Russia, is now flying on the President Poroshenko`s plane from Rostov-on-Don to Kyiv, Reuters Russian service reported citing an informed source.
Meanwhile, Savchenko`s lawyers did not comment on her client`s arrival from the penitentiary facility at the airport of Rostov.
Savchenko is set to arrive at Boryspil airport, according to the sources of TSN news service at the airport`s VIP terminal.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the plane of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko arrived in Rostov-on-Don to take Savchenko home in Ukraine in a procedure of her swap for the Russian GRU officers Aleksandrov and Yerofeyev.
According to media reports, Savchenko could return to Ukraine in the next few hours.
President Poroshenko is reported to have pardoned the two Russsian convicts.
