Savchenko`s question had to be considered at the PACE spring session on April 18.

On March 22, the Donetsk city court of Rostov region (Russia) sentenced Savchenko to 22 years in prison for the alleged murder of two Russian journalists.

After the verdict, Savchenko said she would not appeal, and from April 6, she resumed hunger strike, demanding her return to Ukraine.
According to the lawyers,  Nadia`s condition is critical, she is completely exhausted.

As reported earlier, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, after Savchenko had been sentenced, said that Ukraine is ready to transfer to the Russian Federation two Russian military servicemen detained in Donbas – Aleksandrov and Yerofeyev – in exchange for the release of the Ukrainian pilot. The lawyer, Ilya Novikov, noted that Alexandrov and Yerofeyev are prime, but not the only candidates for a swap for Savchenko.
