The issue of an armed mission in eastern Ukraine ”is no longer relevant”, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said following the negotiations of theNormandy Four top diplomats in Minsk earlier today, November 29, an UNIAN correspondent in Russia reports.

”The question is no longer relevant, there exists no such need. Today, no one spoke about it. No militarized missions neither that of the OSCE nor of any other structure, which is periodically discussed in Kyiv, no one is considering them,” Lavrov said, answering the question whether there is a need to deploy an armed mission of the OSCE in the east of Ukraine, on what terms it is possible and what a deadline might be.

As UNIAN reported earlier today, Minsk hosted a meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Germany, France, and Russia. They discussed security issues and humanitarian issues of Donbas settlement.
