Russia`s claim of ”Ukrainian saboteurs” attempt to discredit Ukraine – military intelligence

The Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine`s Defense Ministry has refuted the Russian FSB report that it was their employees who had been arrested in the occupied Crimea`s strategic port city of Sevastopol on November 9.

”The statement of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation on the detention of officers of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine is yet another fake. We refute allegations of the FSB on the alleged detention of our employees in Sevastopol,” according to a statement of the agency.

The intelligence says that this statement is aimed at ”concealing own repressive actions against the inhabitants of the peninsula, as well as at discrediting Ukraine in the eyes of the international community.”

As UNIAN reported earlier, the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation claims they detained in the strategic port city of the occupied Crimea, Sevastopol, a group of commandos of the Ukrainian military intelligence, who plotted subversive action on military sites.
