Only the Ukrainian army is complying with the terms of a ceasefire in Donbas. Russian troops and terrorist groups continue shelling and are trying to attack the positions of Ukrainian security forces.
The coordinator of the Information Resistance group, Dmytro Tymchuk, reported this on his Facebook page.
“Russian-terrorist troops are not observing the truce according to the protocol signed yesterday in Minsk between Ukraine, DPR and LPR with the involvement of the OSCE. Russian troops and terrorists are attacking and shelling the positions and roadblocks of Ukrainian troops in Donbas,” he wrote.
According to Tymchuk, after 18.00 on September 5 and until now the enemy made several attempts to attack the positions of Ukrainian troops at the Donetsk airport. During the storming the enemy used grenade launchers and flamethrowers.
In addition, Tymchuk said, after 18.00 on September 5, the positions of Ukrainian security forces were shelled near the settlements of Popasna, Krasnohorivka, Zolote, and Novotroitske.
“Ukrainian troops fully observe the truce and open fire only in response to an attack on their positions,” Tymchuk said.
