Russian terrorists violated cease-fire for 65 times using artillery, mortars, tanks – ATO Press Center

On August 6, 2015, the ATO Press Center reports that pro-Russian terrorists violated cease-fire 65 times over past day.

“Last night, pro-Russian mercenaries slightly decreased the volume of shelling of the Ukrainian troops’ positions in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area, but continued to actively use Minsk-banned weapons,” informs the ATO Press Center.

From 6 p.m. till midnight terrorists used 120-mm mortars to shell Ukrainian positions in villages Pisky, Novomykhailivka, Avdiivka, and Opytne near Donetsk.

“At Artemivsk direction, Ukrainian strongpoint in Kurdiumivka village was fired at from a tank and 120-mm mortars at around 10 p.m. At 10:20 p.m., Troitske was shelled from 122-mm artillery,” reports the ATO Press Center.

It was relatively calm near Mariupol and in the Luhansk region from 6 p.m. till midnight. Terrorists used small arms to provoke Ukrainian soldiers in Shchastia and Stanytsia Luhanska.

“In total, mercenaries violated cease-fire for 65 times during August 5, 2015. They used artillery once, mortars 26 times, small arms and grenade launchers – 108 times, and tanks were employed three times,” the ATO Press Center.

After midnight, on August 6, 2015, pro-Russian terrorists continued fire from 120-mm mortars near Leninske and Maiorsk. At 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. tanks were firing at the village Opytne, the Donetsk region.
