Russian-backed militants continue to violate truce agreement

Russian proxies continue to violate the truce agreement, having attacked Ukrainian forces 12 times in the past day, according to the press center of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) headquarters.
”In the evening, illegal armed groups fired rocket-propelled grenades, heavy machine guns and small arms on our strong points near Avdiyivka several times from the suburbs of the temporarily occupied Donetsk,” the statement reads.
Near Luhanske, which is located not far from Svitlodarsk water reservoir, the pro-Russian fighters used small arms and BMP weapons to attack Ukrainian positions.
”In the Mariupol sector, the illegal armed groups fired grenade launchers, small arms, as well as 120-mm mortars prohibited by the Minsk agreements on ATO forces near the village of Taramchuk at the end of the day,” the statement reads further.
The situation in Luhansk region remained relatively calm in the past day. However, starting from midnight the enemy was firing an automatic grenade launcher machine near the village of Stanytsia Luhanska.
”The situation in Taramchuk remained tense in the morning where militants again were firing grenade launchers on our positions,” the press center reported.
