The Russian Ministry of Justice, General Prosecutor`s Office and the Foreign Ministry are collecting and analyzing data for the possible banning four non-profit organizations from the so-called ”stop list” adopted last year by the Russian Federation Council, that`s according to the chairman of the international affairs committee of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation, Konstantin Kosachev.
According to Kosachev, it is the Ukrainian World Congress, the Ukrainian World Coordinating Council, the Crimean Field Mission on Human Rights that can be declared ”unwanted.”
In addition, the International Republican Institute (IRI) can be banned in the territory of the Russian Federation: ”Relevant structures collect and analyze information on this organization, on whether it constitutes a threat to the constitutional order of the Russian Federation,” said Kosachev, according to RIA Novosti.
