Russia takes Nadia Savchenko`s sister off wanted list

Savchenko`s lawyer Ilya Novikov published on Facebook a document signed by a Russian investigation official on taking Vira Savchenko, sister of illegally imprisoned in Russia Ukrainian female pilot and MP Nadia Savchenko, off the wanted list.
”The search for Vira Savchenko has stopped,” he said in a statement.
Novikov also released a copy of the document on taking Vira Savchenko off the wanted list.
It states that on April 28, 2016, the investigation authorities in Grozny located Vira Savchenko, and therefore the search was canceled.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Vira Savchenko, the sister of the Ukrainian female pilot and MP Nadia Savchenko, who has been illegally convicted in Russia, was prevented from leaving the territory of Russia. Vira Savchenko is accused of contempt of the Chechen court, where she visited the hearings as a public defender of Ukrainian political prisoners Mykola Karpiuk and Stanislav Klykh. Later, due to the consular intervention, Vira Savchenko managed to successfully cross into Ukraine.
