Positions of border guards and the Armed Forces of Ukraine are systematically shelled from the territory of the Russian Federation.
Spokesman of the National Security and Defense Council Andriy Lysenko told a briefing on Saturday.
“Within the day, the militants have repeatedly shelled positions and roadblocks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the settlements of Avdiivka, Pisky, Maryinka, Manuilivka, Stepanivka and Chervonopartyzansk. Positions of border guards and the Armed Forces of Ukraine are systemically bombarded from the territory of the Russian Federation,” he said.
In particular, the ATO positions near the settlement of Panchinkove and Chervonopartyzansk were subjected to fire.
“From 9:00 p.m. in the evening, during four hours positions of paratroopers were fired in the area of the settlement Diakove with Grad multiple rocket launchers. During the firing of the checkpoint Dovzhansky, the border guards recorded the unmanned Russian flying machine that returned to Russia after the firing,” Lysenko said.
