Russia can prepare offensive operation – Turchynov

Constant increase in enemy’s forces along the frontline allows to anticipate powerful offensive operations in the near future.
Secretary of Ukraine’s National Security Council Oleksandr Turchynov made this statement.
“Pulling the personnel of the Russian Armed Forces closer to frontlines gives us reasons to anticipate a powerful enemy offensive operations soon,” press service of the Security Council quoted Turchynov as saying.
He also noted the situation at Donetsk airport remains the most difficult. In fact, the new terminal is completely destroyed, but our armed forces consolidated their positions in the area of Pisky village and dealt a series of very strong blows to the enemy.
According to the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, communications and transportation lines that allowed quick transportation of armored vehicles to the airport were destroyed.
“Besides, the situation was stabilized also on the southern front where there was an attempt by gunmen to break through our defenses in the region of checkpoints 31 and 29 the day before,” Turchynov said.
