Dutch military aircraft, on Saturday, will take remains of the victims of Boeing MH-17 from Kharkiv to the Netherlands, found in the last few days on the crash site.
The Ministry of Defense of the Netherlands reported, the NOS publication writes.
“On Saturday, military aircraft will deliver to the base in Eindhoven the remains of those killed in the crash of the Boeing MH-17. The same ceremony, as in previous times, will be held,” the publication notes.
The aircraft will arrive at 16:00 local time (17:00 Kyiv time). After that, the remains will be sent to the city of Hilversum, where a process of identifying the victims continues.
As reported by Ukrinform, in early August, a search mission at the crash site of the aircraft in Donetsk region has been suspended because of the threat to the life of experts. Some specialists remained in Kharkiv for the possible resumption of search works. In the past few days, experts managed to visit the crash site twice and found the remains and personal belongings of the victims.
Recall, Boeing 777 of Malaysia Airlines, flying from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur, was shot down by militants in eastern Ukraine on July 17. 298 people were onboard, 196 of them – citizens of the Netherlands, all of them died.
