Rada saves Luhansk region from new Holodomor – Moskal

People’s deputy, head of the Luhansk regional administration Hennadiy Moskal said that a resolution about the change in the administrative-territorial order of Luhansk region comes into forces since the moment of its adoption.
He told journalists on the parliament’s sidelines, a Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Resolutions adopted today come into force since the moment of their adoption, and therefore, I currently go to Mrs. Sliuz (head of the State Treasury Tetiana Sliuz – Ed.) and she gives me on receipt the electronic keys from the districts, mentioned in this resolution, and we will do something with money,” Moskal said.
He noted that now in districts, which are under control of separatists, “people have already swollen from hunger. If it were not for the adoption of today’s decisions, we would have repeated Famine of 1932-1933 years,” Moskal said.
He also stressed that he stands against holding the elections, in particular, in the town of Shchastia.
“I cannot guarantee security of the elections, in particular, in the town of Shchastia. I have not a gun in order to disperse the terrorists, and I cannot guarantee that people will not be killed during the elections for the sake of political forces,” Moskal said.
