Rada decides on its work

People’s deputies took a resolution on a calendar plan of holding the first session of the Verkhovna Rada of the eighth convocation.
334 deputies voted for this decision, Ukrinform’s correspondent reports.
In particular, the resolution says that the Verkhovna Rada will work until January 16, three weeks are for plenary meetings, work in committees, commissions, factions and groups – two weeks and one week is for work of people’s deputies with electors. In addition, there will be three hours of questions to the government.
In particular, weeks of December 8-12, December 22-26, 2014, and January 12-16, 2015, are envisaged as plenary.
At the same time, the resolution envisages that in case the Cabinet submits the draft law of Ukraine on the state budget 2015 and there will be a need to consider it December 15-19 (non-plenary week), the parliament will be proposed to take a decision on a one-time change of the week’s agenda of the Verkhovna Rada work.
Hroisman also added that MPs will work on the budget on Sunday too. “Do not worry, we will work every day,” he said.
