Rada amends state budget 2016, allocates UAH 4.4 bln for benefits and subsidies

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has passed amendments to the state budget for 2016, increasing by UAH 4.4 billion the amount of government subsidies to local budgets for provision of benefits and utility subsidies.

The relevant draft law ”On amendments to the state budget for 2016” (No. 5502), prepared by a group of MPs, was supported by 277 deputies at 226 required.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman Monday expressed hope that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine would before weekend adopt the government-proposed bill on the state budget for 2017, submitted for its second reading.
