Putin’s “convoy” slowed by absence of documents

Ukrainian customs officers and border guards still have not started working with the Russian “humanitarian convoy” because they have not received documentation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
Spokesman of the NSDC Information-Analytical Center Andriy Lysenko told a briefing Friday, a Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“The border guards and customs officers are ready to start work on receiving the goods, but our representatives have not received any documentation on it from the ICRC. Once this documentation is received – border guards and customs officers will start working with the aid, and then it will be delivered to Ukraine under the auspices of the ICRC,” Lysenko said.
According to him, representatives of Ukraine will make every effort to formalize humanitarian aid as soon as possible. “Once the documents are provided – there will be no delay, because help is needed, we accept it, so our specialists will formalize everything as soon as possible,” the Spokesman said.
