Putin to support deployment of OSCE`s armed personnel on contact line in Donbas

Russia will support deployment of the OSCE armed personnel on the demarcation line in Donbas and the increase of its presence, Russian President Vladimir Putin said during the Direct Line on Thursday, according to an UaPosition correspondent in Russia.
”We are ready to support this process. I presume that there will be no active hostilities. On the contrary, I have recently had a conversation with Petro Poroshenko. He proposed to strengthen the OSCE`s presence. His proposal is to deploy the OSCE armed personnel on the demarcation line and achieve a complete ceasefire,” Putin said.
”I think this is the right offer, we support it,” he added.
According to Putin, now it is necessary to work out this offer with Western partners so that the OSCE could adopt such a decision – to increase the number of its employees and to prescribe in the mandate that they have firearms.
