President to table in parliament bill on ‘temporary order’ for Donbas next week

The bill on the temporary order of local government in certain areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions will be submitted to the Verkhovna Rada next week.
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said this at an extended government meeting on Wednesday, Ukrinform’s correspondent reported.
“The [draft] law of Ukraine on the temporary order of local government in certain areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions foresees a clear status of these regions within Ukraine. This bill will be submitted to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine next week,” he said.
Poroshenko stressed the importance of the adoption of this law, which determines the further fate of peace.
He said that the bill also envisages a peaceful return of these areas to Ukraine’s sovereignty.
