Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has signed the law on the cleansing of power, which was adopted by the Verkhovna Rada on September 16, the presidential press service has reported.
“The law defines legal and organizational principles for the inspection of civil servants and persons equated to them, officials of local government agencies with a view to restoring confidence in the authorities and creating conditions for the construction of a new system of government in line with European standards,” reads the statement.
