President signs law financing purchase of prostheses for ATO soldiers

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has signed amendments to Ukraine’s state budget for 2014, which allows financing the purchase of prostheses for participants in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) who sustained severe injuries, the presidential press service has reported.
In particular, law No. 1705-VII on the introduction of amendments to Annex No. 3 of the law on Ukraine’s state budget for 2014 introduces a new budget program worth UAH 7 million on the provision of certain categories of citizens who were involved in the anti-terrorist operation and/or ensured its organization and sustained limb injuries with prosthetics and prosthetic products of the higher functionality that are absent in Ukraine.
In addition, under the law, spending on financing in 2014 the newly created State Service for War Veterans and members Participants in the Anti-Terrorist Operation was increased by UAH 2.2 million.
