President Poroshenko introduced a bill on the deprivation of nationality of officials with dual citizenship. The bill on the deprivation of Ukrainian citizenship for those officials who voluntarily obtained citizenship of another state was proposed for consideration in the Verkhovna Rada.
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Tuesday included in the agenda of its Tuesday session a presidential bill on amending the Law ”On Citizenship of Ukraine” regarding the realization of the right to change citizenship.
Among other things, a number of draft laws will be considered, including on finance and banking issues, as well as the fuel and energy complex, in particular, the stabilization of the activities of Chornomornaftogaz SJSC as a result of the temporary occupation of a part of the Ukrainian territory.
In addition, on Tuesday, Rada will consider the issue of appointing extraordinary local elections, as well as the election of deputies members of the committees of the Verkhovna Rada.
