President Poroshenko announces resignation of head of the presidential administration

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has appointed Chairman of Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Ihor Rainin, as head of the presidential administration.

Poroshenko acknowledged the successful record of Rainin as Chairman of Kharkiv Regional State Administration and expressed the hope that Rainin would be able to extend his successful work in the Kharkiv region to the whole of Ukraine.

Poroshenko promised that the decrees pertaining to the dismissal of Boris Lozhkin as head of the presidential administration and the appointment of Rainin would be signed today.

While speaking at the National Reform Council, Poroshenko said that Lozhkin would become Chairman of the National Investment Council. He thanked Lozhkin for his work as head of the presidential administration and added that Lozhkin would remain as his advisor and in a responsible position within the National Reform Council.
