Poroshenko: Ukraine will be granted EU visa-free travel in autumn

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko says Ukraine will be granted EU visa-free travel in autumn.

”I`m confident we will win, I`m confident we`ll change the country, and I`m sure we`ll get a visa-free regime in autumn. The city of Vinnytsia is in the avant-garde as a European capital,” he said at the celebration on the occasion of the Day of City in Vinnytsia on Saturday.

On September 5, the European Parliament Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs will hear a report on visa liberalization for Ukraine.

On April 20, the European Commission sent a motion to the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union, proposing the cancellation of visas for Ukraine.
