Poroshenko to meet with Obama at NATO Summit in Warsaw

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry during his visit to Kyiv will discuss issues of cooperation between Ukraine and NATO with Ukrainian leaders, as well as will pay attention to the reform of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the implementation of the Minsk agreements, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Kostiantyn Yeliseyev said on Ukrainian Inter TV Channel, ZN.ua reports.
”We will discuss both a wide range of issues in bilateral relations and the issue of global and regional security,” said the official.
”Ukraine-NATO cooperation, the reforming of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the implementation of the Minsk agreements – all these issues will be on the agenda,” Yeliseyev said.
Yeliseyev reminded the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko intends to meet with his U.S. counterpart Barack Obama at the NATO Summit in Warsaw. ”This visit will take place on July 8-9, and at the moment, there is time set in a schedule for a bilateral meeting between the President of Ukraine and the President of the U.S.,” he said.
