Poroshenko to ask Verkhovna Rada to cancel Ukraine’s non-aligned status

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, upon return from Poland, plans to table in the Verkhovna Rada a bill cancelling Ukraine’s non-bloc status.
He said this in the Polish Sejm in Warsaw on Wednesday.
“After returning to Ukraine I will submit a bill on the cancellation of [Ukraine’s] non-bloc status,” Poroshenko said.
