The Minsk protocol does not envisage the federalization or alienation of Donbas.
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said this at an extended government meeting on Wednesday, Ukrinform’s correspondent reported.
“The protocol foresees the restoration and preservation of Ukraine’s sovereignty in the whole territory of the Donbas, including in the territory temporarily controlled by militants. This part will also return to Ukraine’s legal field. I draw your attention to the fact that there can be no question about some federalization or alienation,” Poroshenko said.
He also said that “such formations as LPR and DPR are not mentioned in the document at all.”
