Poroshenko: Donbas election to take place ”when Russians stop killing Ukrainians”

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko says local elections in Donbas will take place only when Russian troops leave Ukraine territory.
”[It will happen] when Russians stop killing Ukrainians, as soon as the Russian occupation forces are withdrawn from Ukrainian territory,” he said at a briefing after talks amid the Warsaw NATO Summit on Saturday, answering a question from Russian journalists of Russia`s propagandist Rossiya TV Channel about when the local election in Donbas could be held.
Poroshenko earlier stressed that the local voting in eastern Ukraine should be held under Ukrainian laws and only in keeping with OSCE standards rather than ”at the barrel of militants` guns.”
