Ukrainian military who are defending the Donetsk airport are not planning to leave their positions.
Ukrainian Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak told this to reporters on Friday after the ceremony to present awards to servicemen on the occasion of the Day of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, a Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“The situation there is stable, but difficult. In my opinion, we have no right to surrender even a meter of our land,” Poltorak said, adding that Ukrainian troops continue to keep their current positions.
