Poland sends humanitarian convoy to Ukraine

A humanitarian convoy will be sent from Poland to Ukraine in the near future.
Polish Foreign Minister Grzegorz Schetyna said, Ukrainska Pravda reports.
“This convoy also has a symbolic meaning,” the Minister said. “We remember the refugees from Donetsk and Luhansk, we want to help before Christmas. We remember how after December 13, 1980, after the imposition of martial law in Poland, Western countries sent the aid to us. We will send the humanitarian aid to Ukraine as a sign of our solidarity.”
Until next week, a convoy from Poland should come to Kharkiv.
According to the Polish diplomat, the government has allocated about USD 1 million for the outfit of this convoy. The Prime Minister of Poland is going to personally send a convoy to Ukraine.
