Poland sees little chance for peaceful settlement in Ukraine

Possibilities for peaceful settlement of the conflict in Ukraine grow smaller, besides Russia creates a long-term threat to Europe.
This has been announced today in Warsaw by Polish minister for national defense Tomasz Siemoniak, an Ukrinform correspondent in Poland reports.
“The chances for a peaceful settlement of crisis in Ukraine grow smaller. I think that we will face difficult months and years, as Russia does not conceal its purpose to block the European way of Ukraine,” said Siemoniak.
He has stressed that Russia no longer hides the use of military means, which creates a long-term threat to Europe.
Siemoniak considers military cooperation with Ukraine to be “strategic”. One of its main issues, according to the politician, is the creation of a joint Lithuanian-Polish-Ukrainian Brigade.
