Poland may ratify association agreement with Ukraine in a week

Poland may ratify the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement at the next meeting of the lower house of parliament, the Sejm, which is scheduled for October 8-10.
Polish Prime Minister Ewa Kopacz said this while answering questions from deputies in the Sejm, Ukrinform’s correspondent in Poland reported.
“The Polish Council of Ministers approved this document on September 26. It will quickly be submitted to the Sejm. I think that it will be considered at its next meeting,” Kopacz said.
The agenda of the Sejm meeting on October 8-10 does not yet include a point on the consideration and ratification of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU. However, it can be supplemented by laws and draft laws that are under the jurisdiction of the European Union.
