PM Yatseniuk: Some 50,000 military participate in ATO

For today, about 50,000 military have participated in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) in Donbas, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk said this while visiting the wounded servicemen at Kyiv’s main clinical hospital, the Governmental portal reported.
“Already at the moment about 50,000 fighters are members of the anti-terrorist operation,” he said.
According to Yatseniuk, of them “thousands are wounded, many families are left without a breadwinner.”
A reminder that the Cabinet of Ministers set up a separate state service for veterans, disabled persons, and participants in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) in Donbas.
According to the National Security and Defence Council, during the anti-terrorist operation 568 military have been killed.
