People’s deputies to have closed session

The Verkhovna Rada gathers for a closed session.
The press service of the Verkhovna Rada informs.
“A plenary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada will take place behind closed doors,” a statement reads.
As reported by Ukrinform, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk demands from people’s deputies to arrive July 31 to the parliament. He noted that after vitally important for the country projects were failed by the deputies last Thursday, “UAH 1.5 billion was suspended that was on the way of being allocated” to Ukraine. These are USD 500 million from the World Bank and USD 1 billion from the International Monetary Fund.
An instruction on calling a special session of the Verkhovna Rada on July 31, where the draft laws necessary for the country should be approved, was signed Monday, July 28. As the Media Liaison Department of the Cabinet’s Secretariat specifies, the matter concerns also voting for the draft law on amendments to the state budget of Ukraine, which, in particular, envisages allocation of UAH 9.1 billion for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard, UAH 3 billion for the renewal of regions that suffered from the actions of terrorists and UAH 1 billion for social and economic development of other regions.
