Participants of future coalition agreed to withdraw immunity

Participants of negotiations for creation of the coalition agreement agreed on removal of parliamentary immunity.
Advisor to the President of Ukraine Mykola Tomenko said on air of the Channel 5.
“We agreed on the removal of immunity. All five subjects in the negotiations agreed on this point. But as concerns protection of political activity, it should not happen so that we will hold a rally and will be thrown into jail. The matter concerns everything related to business, because 90% of the cases submitted to the removal of immunity was related to business activities,” Tomenko said.
According to him, the Rada’s consent should not be necessary to open criminal proceedings on suspicion of the people’s deputy in corruption, because certain procedures will be spelled out for this.
