Parliament speaker says decommunization as important as judicial reform, national security

Ukrainian Parliament Speaker Andriy Parubiy says that the issue of decommunization is as important as judicial reform and national security, according to an UNIAN correspondent.
”A clean-up, updating of Ukraine`s map today is a resolute answer to [Russian President Vladimir] Putin, the same way as our achievements on the eastern front are. This is a strategic and visionary issue,” he said at a press conference in Kyiv on Monday.
Parubiy says that the history of the hybrid war against Ukraine is the way of keeping the country in the Soviet past psychologically and mentally.
”These [Soviet-style geographic] names is an attempt to keep us within the Russian World matrix,” he added.
