OSCE still sees Grads, howitzers, tanks in militant-controlled Luhansk

The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) reports that the heavy weapons, namely Grad systems, howitzers, tanks it earlier spotted in the militant-controlled town of Luhansk are still kept there.

”In violation of the respective withdrawal lines, the SMM saw seven multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS; BM-21 Grad, 122mm), seven self-propelled howitzers (2S1 Gvozdika, 122mm), and ten towed howitzers (five 2A65 Msta-B, 152mm, and five D-30 Lyagushka, 122mm) in the city of Luhansk,” the OSCE SMM said in an update based on information received as of 1930 local time on April 25, 2016.

What is more, the SMM observed seven tanks (T-72) in Luhansk.

The OSCE SMM earlier reported that the Russian proxies had not withdrawn their heavy weapons from the contact line, as is stipulated in the Minsk peace agreements.
