OSCE mission to open permanent office in Luhansk

The OSCE mission plans to open its office in Luhansk that will work in the city on a permanent basis, the press service of the Luhansk City Council has reported.
“The special monitoring mission of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) is operating in Luhansk. On November 7, mission representatives met with Director of the Department of Education and Youth Valentyna Kiyashko. OSCE representatives said that earlier it was impossible to open the permanent office in the regional center because of the hostilities. Now the mission will be working in the city on a permanent basis,” the city council said.
The statement notes that during the meeting the sides also discussed the work and rebuilding of educational institutions.
