OSCE doubles its mission in Donbas

The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe plans to double the number of observers in its monitoring mission in Donbas before the end of January.
OSCE spokesman Michael Bociurkiw said this, Radio Liberty reported.
“The number of people in the monitoring mission will be increased from 250 to 500 to improve the security situation,” Bociurkiw said.
According to him, the violation of ceasefire is observed every day, and the non-use of heavy weapons as part of the Minsk agreements is not in force.
The OSCE monitoring mission is currently acting in eastern Ukraine, but does not have access to Russia-occupied Crimea.
