Occupiers open Kalanchak checkpoint

At 04:30 on August 10, occupation authorities of Crimea opened the Kalanchak checkpoint, which had been blocked for several days. The other two checkpoints, Chaplynka and Chonhar, are functioning normally, Kherson Regional State Administration head Andriy Gordeev said on 112 Ukraine TV Channel.

”All the checkpoints have been opened by the occupation authorities. Passage and transportation are taking place as usual,” Gordeev said.

He, however, urged Ukrainians to avoid traveling to the territory of the occupied peninsula.

Last evening, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported that operations at the Chaplynka checkpoint on the administrative border with Crimea has partially resumed.
