No agreements with terrorists on buffer zone – NSDC

The Ukrainian side has not signed any agreements with terrorists on the arrangement of a buffer zone in the Donbas conflict zone.
The spokesman for the information and analytical center of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC), Andriy Lysenko, said this at a briefing on Wednesday, while commenting on rumors about the Ukrainian side’s allegedly recalling its signature from agreements on the arrangement of the buffer zone.
“It is impossible to recall what did not happen,” Lysenko said.
He added that the Minsk agreements did not envisage the retreat from settlements that were occupied by the parties at the time the protocol was signed. “The Donetsk airport has remained, remains, and will remain under the control of the Ukrainian military,” he said.
