Nineteen more senators ask Obama to recognize DPR and LPR as terrorists

Nineteen U.S. senators have asked U.S. President Barack Obama to recognize the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics (DPR and LPR) as terrorist organizations.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin wrote this on his page on Twitter.
“Nineteen U.S. senators sent a letter to Obama calling on him to recognize DPR and LPR as terrorist organizations,” the minister wrote.
Klimkin also cited Oklahoma Senator Jim Inhofe as saying: “The Ukrainian military is willing and able to fight.”
On July 22, three senators from the Democratic Party, Dianne Feinstein, Robert Menendez and Carl Levin, demanded that Obama recognize DPR and LPR as “foreign terrorist organizations.”
On May 16, the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine declared DPR and LPR as terrorist organizations.
