NATO steadfast on helping Ukraine

The decision on increasing practical assistance to Ukraine will be made at July`s NATO summit in Warsaw, the director of Alliance`s Liaison Office in Ukraine Aleksandr Vinnikov said in the interview with press agency Segodnya.ua, Ukraine Today reports.
”We expect two main outcomes of the meeting with Ukraine during the summit. The first one is a political statement which will reaffirm NATO`s unshakeable support of the Ukrainian sovereignty and territorial integrity,” Mr. Vinnikov explained, according to Ukraine Today.
”The approval of a comprehensive support package will expand our practical assistance to Ukraine. This will accelerate the current efforts of support and bring new elements in a single aid package which will encompass all fields of NATO-Ukraine cooperation,” Vinnikov continued.
Aleksandr Vinnikov mentioned that Warsaw will also host a meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Commission at a presidential and governmental levels.
”This meeting will allow to evaluate the reforming progress in Ukraine and discuss our joint work on helping Ukraine to reform security and defence spheres,” the Liaison Office director stated.
