NATO Secretary General to make statement concerning Ukraine

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg will announce the position of the military-political bloc [NATO] on the shelling of Mariupol by Russian-backed terrorists at the conclusion of an urgent meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Commission on Monday.
Head of Ukraine’s Mission to NATO, Ukrainian Ambassador Ihor Dolgov will hold a media briefing after the meeting of the Commission, an Ukrinform correspondent in Brussels reported.
As reported, the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to NATO initiated an emergency session of the commission with NATO due to militant activities in the east of the country. Besides, there will be a meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council on Thursday, January 29, during which the issues of Ukraine’s security and increase of the pressure on Russia will be discussed.
