NATO: Hundreds of Russian troops training militants in occupied part of Ukraine

Air Force Gen. Philip Breedlove, head of U.S. European Command and NATO Supreme Allied Commander Europe, has said that in eastern Ukraine, Russia has about 250-300 troops who are training and equipping the separatists.
Speaking at a press briefing on November 3, Breedlove noted that the Russian government continued to support militants in Donbas.
According to the general, the section of the Ukrainian-Russian border in the conflict zone is not controlled by Ukraine that allows Russian troops to cross it freely.
Breedlove also commented on separatist pseudo-elections, saying that they contradicted the Minsk agreements of September 5 and would not improve the situation in the region. According to Breedlove, despite a ceasefire that was agreed on September 5, the fighting continues.
