Information about the resignation of governor of the National Bank of Ukraine Valeria Hontareva is untrue.
The press service of the regulator told Ukrinform.
“That’s not true. Valeria Oleksiyivna did not resign. But is ready to speak in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine with a report on the work done and answer all the questions,” the agency interlocutor said.
To remind, the media reported, citing sources, that head of the NBU Hontareva wrote a letter of resignation and has already said goodbye to the team, thanking them for their work.
