NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine will pay the second half of debt for Russian gas, which is USD 1.65 billion, by the end of this year.
Energy and Coal Industry Minister Volodymyr Demchyshyn told a briefing at the Cabinet, a Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“As far as I remember, the second part of debt will be paid by the year end,” he said.
According to Demchyshyn, the payment will be made according to a schedule.
Recall, November 4, Naftogaz paid the first part of debt to Gazprom to the amount of USD 1.45 billion.
