Naftogaz transfers part of debt to Gazprom

Naftogaz transferred a part of debt to Gazprom.
NJSC Naftogaz transferred to OJSC Gazprom the first payment for 11.5 billion cu m of unpaid gas at a price of USD 268.5 per thousand cu m.
The press service of the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry informs.
“October 4, 2014, NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine transferred USD 1.45 billion to OJSC Gazprom in payment for supplied and unpaid earlier gas volumes,” the Ministry noted.
The press service noted that according to agreements reached in Brussels, Naftogaz will pay in total USD 3.1 billion for 11.5 billion cu m of gas, supplied by JSC Gazprom in November-December 2013 and in April-June 2014.
